Not Responding
So here we are 11 years into Active Directory and compatable desktops and we are still using Task Manager to kill hung processes only to get Not Responding reports. Sysinternals had process explorer ages ago http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653 why isn't it built in to Windows to kill these hangs?

Hi pete_x, Thanks for posting in TechNet forum. The hangs could be caused by many things, incompatible applications, program conflicts, lack of memory and etc. If you want to end the progress, the Task Manager could help you End it easily. The Process Explorer is a good tool, it showed very detailed information when you start a program. For a high-level computer users like you, this tool tells which processes have particular handles opened or DLLs loaded. However, for those unprofessional users, it may confuse them a lot. Thanks for using this Microsoft tool, if you want to install it on every computer in your domain, you can deploy it to those PCs. And for those hangs problems, it's better to find the cause rather than kill the processes.
