Not Able to open Files after running PC tune Up Software
When you saw that there was no restore point available, did you go back in time to look for others? And did you remember to check the [ ] Show more restore points box? If you simply can't use System Restore, you may need to do a Repair or reinstall Windows using your Windows 7 disc. Generally speaking, magic "cleaner" or "tuneup" applications should be avoided. If you are interested in tuning your system, there are some good freeware tools, such as AutoRuns and ShellExView, that can help you to discover everything that's running on your computer, and for things you can't uninstall the proper way, to selectively disable those programs you don't want running. But you need to take the time to understand what each program is/does and that can be a bit tedious. The reward is a system that runs quick and lean. Also, try to understand that installing every useful toolbar or fun app does take a toll on system performance. Even ads try to install software on your system. Don't let them! Hope this helps you. -Noel
