Non-privileged user can't access ODBC data source
Hello, I have a third party software which uses Microsoft Database, driver is configured on ODBC under User DSN. The software works smoothly under a privileged user account. However run the software under non-privileged users account, it can't access the data source. I tried by turning off UAC but it didn't help. Is there anyway that I can allow it to work under a non-privileged user account? Thanks in advance.

Hi RichTown, The user needs permission to access the data source, it's for security reason. Therefore, a non-privileged user cannot access it. Unless the source is totally open to share, there won't be permission issue. But it's very unsafe.
