Hello Rache M,
Please take a look at the following article about Bluetooth connection does not work.

Take the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Make sure that your phone is not in Battery Saver or Flight mode.
2. Make sure that the pairing devices are set to be visible to one another, and that there are no obstructions blocking the space between the devices.
3. If you cannot establish a connection or lose it soon after pairing, make sure that your phone book contacts do not have special characters or blanks before the name; rename or remove them if they do.
4. Clear the paired devices list on the phone, try to reset the pairing Bluetooth device.
To receive better support about Windows Phone, it is recommended to ask in the Windows Phone Answers Community.
The professionals there will be glad to help you.

My phone is still having a hard time detecting my speaker's bleutooth. Good thing, my phone has nfc feature same with my speaker and it works! Both paired immediately and now everything is working perfectly.. Happy to have that nfc feature..
