No wireless connections detected
Hi, I'm trying to set up a wireless connection on my new Gateway DX4300-15e. I have a microsoft virtual wi-fi miniport and a realtek rtl8190 wireless connection available, although neither of them are detecting my wireless network. I know that the network is detectable from the area that the computer is in because I can access the wireless network from my laptop. I've tried unplugging and replugging the wireless router, i tried updating the drivers(which just says that the current version of the drivers is already installed). After reading posts about similar issues, I think it may be a driver that needs to be uninstalled and reinstsalled, but I am not sure. Can you please help me with this problem??? It'd be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi, Please try the following method: Why can’t I find a wireless network? If the issue persists, I think you can try the latest version of the driver for the Realtek RTL8190 wireless network adapter. To get it, please contact Gateway or Realtek: Gateway Support Realtek Contact Please Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
