No video after S3 resume
Windows 7 does not work properly for me when resuming after S3 sleep. I have to do a hard reset to get Windows working again. The BIOS and drivers are the latest versions. I've disable hybrid sleep and tested with the provided NVidia driver in Windows 7 and the NVidia WHQL driver 181.20.I've played with the power managements settings but this isn't working either. When the PC wakes up I cannot ping or login remotely either. My hardware:- Asus p5wdg2 ws professional (tested with Post S3 on resume option off and on in the bios),- Geforce 7950GT,- Intel E8500 CPU,- 4Gb RAM,Is this a know bug or is there a workaround?

I had set my power options to never, never when I first started dealing with win 7 and saw a problem with waking the hard drive. This afternoon I thought I'd better deal with it. Came back from dinner and couldn't wake it up until I hit the power button. The option on my power button was selected as shut down, however everything seemed to work fine and it didn't shut down?

Thanks, this is a show stopper for me. I find it a bit odd that nobody seems to care about this, looks to me like an important bug!

Have you found a solution yet? I have the same problem and it is definitely a very annoying problem!
