I had LT clean after Malware infection -- NO SOUND. I tried to download driver from DELL web site but SIGMATEL driver using DELL DOWNLOAD MGR. But, it would not download. Error message said missing necessary files. ERROR SUMMARY BELOW: Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log. * Activation of C:\Profiles\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\DellDriverDownloadManager(3).application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected: + Downloading file:///C:/Profiles/Owner/My Documents/Downloads/Application%20Files/DellDriverDownloadManager_2_1_0_0/DellDriverDownloadManager.exe.manifest did not succeed. + Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Profiles\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\Application%20Files\DellDriverDownloadManager_2_1_0_0\DellDriverDownloadManager.exe.manifest'. + Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Profiles\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\Application%20Files\DellDriverDownloadManager_2_1_0_0\DellDriverDownloadManager.exe.manifest'. + Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Profiles\Owner\My Documents\Downloads\Application%20Files\DellDriverDownloadManager_2_1_0_0\DellDriv erDownloadManager.exe.manifest'. I also tried using WINDOWS FIX IT program. It found the audio errors, attempted to fix but could not. Any Help is greatly appreciated. 1 person got this answerI do too
