No response receiver from Symantec server
Just did a clean install of Windows 7 RC. I have internet access through a Verizon DSL router. I can surf and get mail but I can't activate Norton 360 beta for Windows 7 or Carbonite to install the software. Both give error messages about not having internet access. The settings in Norton are alright and the windows firewall is disabled since Norton is running. Any ideas?

I have uninstalled Norton 360 and still have the problem. With Norton installed, the windows firewall is disabled so I don't think it is the firewall. My iTunes does not work either. Because my computer couldn't communicate, iTune removed most of my apps from my iTouch. However, I was able to activate Windows and Outlook. What makes activation of iTunes communication and Noton and Carbonite activation different from normal internet traffic?

Symantec is doing maintenance on the public Beta web site at the moment. See http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=Win7Beta&thread.id=717That's probably why you can't activate the beta. I'm getting the same message at the moment.
