No local security policy in Home edition--how do I install iTunes?
When I try to install iTunes, I get the error message "system administrator has set up policies to prevent this installation." Apple support instructed me to adjust the settings in my local security policy. The home edition of Windows 7 does not offer
this feature. Is anyone aware of a different way to edit these settings or how to install iTunes on Windows 7 Home Edition?

I tried this already, unfortunately it doesn't work. I also tried running it in compatibility mode, but that was unsuccessful as well.

I did some research and found a solution:
Go into Control Panel.
Create new user with as Administrator.
Switch user to the new profile.
Download a new copy of iTunes and save it to the desktop.
Right click and choose Run As Administrator
IF prompted, select to make the program available to all users, if not prompted don’t worry.
Install iTunes, and then switch user back to original user, and iTunes should be installed and working.
Hope this helps if anyone else has the same issue!
