No icons in control panel (No errors but totally empty)
After a week working with W7 beta without problems, all the sudden i have noticed that when i open the control panel, it's totally emtpy, no errors but no icons there either. The same happens when i right click on desktp and then click on Personalize, the personalization folder opens but it's also empty.I have been searching around and found it was also a problem in Vista that was fixed by a released hotfix, also some users managed to fix it temporary in vista stopping/starting the Licensing service, but it doesn't seem to work in Windows 7 Beta. Can any of you please help me to fix this? Thanks in advance.

This was the way to fix it in Vista, but some of those services do not exist in windows 7 like SLUNotify1) Launch services.msc from a run command 2) Find the SLUNotify service & stop it (can't find this service in windows 7)3) Find the Software Licensing service & stop it 4) Restart both services, starting with Software Licensing This is a hotfix released for Vista, but that i guess can't be applied to windows 7:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936686/en-us
