No fax printer installed
I have Windows XP Home installed on my (relatively) new hard drive. But I have just noticed that there's no fax printer. I put the Operating System CD into the D drive and clicked on "adding additional components," or something like that, which appeared on the screen. However, I still do not have a fax printer choice when I am selecting a printer to use for a document. Can anybody tell me how to find the fax printer?1 person needs an answerI do too

Do you have such a modem? It sounds as if you correctly began to install Fax Services (by going to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components), but what happened then? Did you click the "Next" button and go ahead with the installation? Did the install complete successfully or did you get an error message? If the latter, please quote the message in full.If you go back to Add/Remove Windows Components, is the box next to Fax Services still checked?Search in C:\Windows\system32 for any files beginning with the letters fxs. Are there any such files? In particular, does fxsclnt.exe exist?
