No data in Lync Monitoring web site

Hi,

I wonder if someone can help.  I've installled the Lync Monitoring server however not all the data is appearing on the reports page.  The only ones that work are the ones under "Media Quality Diagnostic Reports".  When I look under any of the others i.e. "System Usage Report", "User registration report" it just says no results match the report filters.

I intially had the same errors described here, in the stored procedure it said @_EndTime instead of @_Endtime which I've since corrected and I no longer see this error:-

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset 'CallList'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
@_Endtime is not a parameter for procedure CdrP2PSessionList.

I've already run this cmd

Install-CsDatabase -Update -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn <EEBE.Fqdn> -UseDefaultSqlPaths

MSMQ is installed on all the FE servers, I can also see the queues taking on messages and passing them onto the Lync Monitoring server. I've checked the application logs and I cannot see any obvious errors in there either.

Thank you in advance.

You will have to look into your CDR / QOE tables to see if there is any data in there

Hi,

Each report is configured to show a default set of records. For example, by default the User Registration Report shows user registration activities for the past week. In some cases, this might result in a report that returns no records. In this case, it means that no user registrations have taken place in the past week. If you see the message No results match the report filters, try changing the filter values (for example, change the time period to the past month rather than the past week) and rerun the query.

If you just installed monitoring server, you may need to wait for a few days.

Hi guys,

I managed to get it working by re installing the Monitoring server, I can now see data, the only one problem I have is that the only report that doesn't work is "Top Failures Report", all the other reports work perfectly except for this one, I receive the following error:-

  • An
error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
    • Query
execution failed for data set 'GetAll'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
      • Error
converting data type nvarchar to datetime.

UPDATE.

The error I'm getting when I try and run "Top Failures Report" seems to be a damn Internet Exploder (on purpose spelling mistake) problem.  It works on IE7 and IE8 not on IE9 :(

Hi Kent,

Would like to check with you, where the Monitoring Report pulling the details/information from?

Is it from the database or live data from events?

If its pulling info from database, may I know where/which element/folder is it pulling from?

Best Regards,

Raven

May I know from which table?

The system manager claims that there are a lot of tables in monitoring server.
