No connexion icon appears while my internet connection runs well
Hi ! All is in the title ;) I have an ethernet connexion to my router. All the stuff works perfectly. I had no problems with this icon until 2 days ago. It was showing before that the internet connexion was working well and then actually it shows that I have no connexion working but when I clik on the icon to see whats happening the little promp shows clearly thaht I have one connection opened and this connection is connected to internet. So where's the bug ??!! Like I said before : my internet works perfectly, I have an IP adress (setted automaticaly by DHCP), ... So this icon shows a wrong information. I had disabled all the other network devices (wifi card, VMWare network adapter - VMnet1 and VMnet2 -, and the bluetooth dongle) and it changed nothing. So could please someone tells me waht to do to let windows understand that there's no problems with my internet connexion so it can start showing the previous icon ? Thanks in advance !!

Hi, Did you check the following KB article to see if it helps: The network connectivity status incorrectly appears as "Local only" on a Windows Server 2008-based or Windows Vista-based computer that has more than one network adapter Regards, Sabrina This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. |Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Hi ! Thanks for the reply. I checked the article, but it seems that there's no solutions given. So is there a solution in my case ?
