No access to shares in SBS 2008 environment
Hello, We have a problem with accessing shares on a Windows 7 Pro machine. When we start the computer and login, we cannot access the shares and is it not possible to use the network printers. When I go to \\servername\ I get the message: "No access to \\servername\". I can ping the server as well. When I log off and login once again, the networkshares a accessible. In the logbook of the client and server I cannot find any event, what can be related with this problem. I have check the DNS, but it seem to be good. I have no idea what going wrong :-( Do someone have a suggestion?? Thank you in advance Regards, Nico Hendriks

How does it work if you temporary disable antivirus and firewall? When the issue occurs, please run ipconfig/all in command line and check if the IP configurations are correct. If the settings are not proper, I suggest you download the latest Windows 7 compatible network adapter driver and check the result again. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
