No access to local network shares; reboot fixes the problem
I've had this issue a few times now. I'm running Windows 7 on a laptop and I play music off of an XP share. It works beautifully most of the time, but sometimes after my laptop sleeps and wakes back up, I can't access the network share. I've tried disabling and re-enabling the wireless adapter, but the only thing that solves the problem is a system reboot. I can ping the IP addresses directly, but the shares are not working and I can't ping any of the systems by name. Any ideas? Troubleshooting steps the next time it happens? Ryan

Sleep mode does this, it's a known issue. Best thing to do? Avoid sleep mode until the issue is resolved.

Cool, thanks, as long as it's known I can live with it.
