No Wireless Connection available in Network Connections
Hello all. I am having difficulty connecting my Netgear Wireless Router MR814 V1 with Windows XP home OS SP3. I have a Motorola modem, which works fine when directly connected to PC, however, when I configure the router, no connectivity. I ran the network troubleshooting tool in Windows and found no wireless services running. Went to the Network Connections folder and wireless is not available. This was working properly at one point...I am not sure if if stopped working after SP3 was installed or not. Everything appears fine with the devices themselves, just not the connectivity with Win XP. Can anyone tell me what I might be overlooking?1 person needs an answerI do too

Also try to Power OFF The Router for about two minutes and also in the same time the computer. Turn ON the router and wait for about two to three minutes untill all three LED light solid green and then Turn the Computer ON. Does it help? Open a run command try to renew and flush the dns:ipconfig /flushdns click [OK]ipconfig /renew click [OK]netsh winsock reset click [OK]Reboot and see if that will help.nass -- http://www.nasstec.co.uk

HiIf it works directly with the Modem, try first to see if it works with the Router and a wire connection.Only when it is working with a wire connection to the Router tend to the Wireless. If it does not work with a wire then you might have authentication issue. How to Fix Cable/DSL Internet authentication (password) - http://www.ezlan.net/broadband.htmlIf it works with the Router and a Wire and No Wireless , maybe this can help.My Wireless does not work - http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.htmlWireless Basic Configuration - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.htmlWireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html Jack MVP-Networking.
