No USB wireless connection from Vista on VirtualBox under Ubuntu
HiI have VirtualBox 2.0.4 installed on Ubuntu 8.10 with minor modification, and running Vista SP1 on V.Box. The issue is with USB wireless connection from the virtual Vista. I can access my USB flash drive from the virtual Vista, while it does not recognize the USB wireless device. The "USB Device" of VirtualBox properly lists both. My system has both Vista and Ubuntu as a dual-OS, and dual-booted Vista does not have any problem with UBS wireless connection. Is there any way for the virtual Vista to recognize the UBS wireless device? Thanks for help.

Hi, Thank you for your posting. I noticed if you use Windows Vista directly, the UBS wireless connection works fine, and if you use Windows Vista in VirtualBox, the UBS wireless connection doesnt work. The problem is more related to VirtualBox setting, not a Windows Vista problem. I did a search on the issue and found lots of people encountered same problem like you. Given the situation, I suggest you post the issue on VirtualBox forum.
