Installation went smoothly, OS working smoothly, only problem is that the PC does not shut down after I click the power shutdown icon in the start Menu. I have to hold the power button on the PC front panel down for a few seconds to achieve shutdown. I have configured the Power/Energy options on he Balanced menu to Never put the computer to sleep and done the same for monitor. In the advanced settings I have set the Power Button on the Start menu respond to shutdown. Only the monitor shuts down, leaving the PC running. Bios has not Power off related setup and this issue does not exist hen i run the PC in Vista Ultimate mode from the dual boot setup I created. Any Ideas anyone??

Albert or Oscar, Can you share the model of your motherboard (or notebook)? It seems as though certain system hooks have changed in Windows 7, and a very small percentage of computers are no longer responding to certain commands.-Alex
