No Internet and Unknown Network
When a Dell Precision 690 With Windows7 64bit was moved from on office to another (different domains) it can't find the internet and has an Unknown network. I have tried static IPs (no change) DHCP (no IP and no connection) Can't ping anything in the domain. Nothing can ping it. Tried Firewall off, Tried Firewall on with everything open, removing and reinstalling the NIC drivers, and a lot more Any Ideas other what is already posted and tried The other machine is a laptop and it sees the network but No Internet. I have had this happen before but usually putting in a static IP and checking the registry for incorrect DNS server names and IP Addresses usually fixed the problem. But that is like stopping the iche but not finding the cause and cure. I have to get these two units fixed without reinstalling windows7 and all the other programs there are on these machines. Thank you

Hi, In order to work around this issue efficiently, I need your screenshot about IPCONFIG/ALL. Meanwhile, please provide the networks gateway IP address and subnet mark. I suppose the static IP address you set may not belong to this new network. Please get this important information from your network administrator or IT department. Also remember ask them check the Switch Port. Try to let them check on the Switch and find if your MAC address can be saw from the Port you connect. Also, let me know if this issue happen under others network such like in your home? You can try to check with using laptop.Your Name TechNet Community Support
