No Internet Access
I did a fresh install of Windows 7 (ultimate 32) on 2 of my pc's. PC1 have 2 nic's of which one is connected to the dsl modem and the other is connected to PC2. PC1 have the internet working and is also connected to PC2 but the connection btw PC1 & PC2 have No Internet Access status. 2 networks Network (PC1 - DSL) Public Network (automatic ip address) Unidentified Network (PC1 - PC2) HomeGroup Joined (static ip address) have enabled ICS in network (PC - DSL) but PC2 cant access internet after many changes here and there. have been searching all day for its solution but no luck.

Review this and see if it helps You may try re-configuring the Internet Connection Sharing the computers and check if that helps. You may follow the links which talks about Internet Connection Sharing. Using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Using-ICS-Internet-Connection-Sharing but I got to ask, why not just plug both to something like a linksys router? i have read that link before which says to make the ip's automatic for lan but when i set both pc's ip's to automatic i loose the network connection btw them.

Hi,I suggest you temporarily turn off firewall and upgrade NIC driver on each machine, and then re-configure Internet Connection Sharing again. If the issue persists, please run IPconfig on PC 2 and post the IP address here for research.Thanks,Novak
