No E-Mail Program Associated to Perform Action
Hi Folks: Installed Windows 7 - Home Premium and using IE9. I use MSN Hotmail and Sympatico Hotmail. Neither of which are on my computer. I do not use Outlook and hate Windows Live Mail programme. Solution to the following problem: When I click on an e-mail address (while on the web) it should take me to my designated e-mail programme. Unfortunately, I receive the following error message: "There is no e-mail program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program, or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel." I've looked at the Default Programs Control Panel and I cannot find anything that would be related to creating this association. Could you provide me with some further instructions. Greatly appreciate your help. Thanks, sircatnip

Hi, Windows 7 no longer comes with Windows Mail or Outlook Express or any other email application. You'll need Windows Live Mail or you'll need to install Office/Outlook or another email application. Windows Live Mail 2011 Hope it helps.
