I installed it and coud mot boot anymore - it told nme on the first screen the usual IRQ_LESS_THAN...as a sidenote before reinstalling I tried to recover by reloading it from WHS whcih equally did not work, but that's for another forum I believeErik

Is it possible to boot into safe mode at all?Did you try booting off of your windows 7 disk and repairing startup, or using system restore?

No, I could not boot into safe mode (same error) and I used the repair from the win7 CD, which also did not work.I tried also to boot with the monitor on DVI as well as on standard VGA (since this prohibited to boot at first installation some weeks ago!)Could there be any problem with my Mobo ?? It is a Asus M2MPV-MX with nvidia 6150 and nForce 430. It runs without problem on xp and vista though...ErikEDIT:..and I forgot, after installing the first time successfully, I installed all available Mobo support drivers(especially NVIDIA) forvista. After that it ran fine. It was just after the download after it failed.....

Have you tried to boot into windows in standard VGA mode? available through F8 advanced boot options. that should let you get back into windows and r-install a video driver that works.

HiYou can get this error if your system is overclocked or if you have ram issue too, but probably in your case it is caused by HDD controller driver problemYou can use F8 as Sanginiussuggest you, but to try loading using LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION boot menu option, or you can try setting your HDD controller in IDE mode instead of RAID mode if possible of course

Sanginius,I am not coming that far, when it boots it shortly flashes the BSOD message at me and reiinits...F8 has no effect there.... Erik
