NfsClnt, EventID = 16397 Win 7 Ultimate Client
I get regularly the following warning in my event log: Windows(R) Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) failed a request to connect to Active Directory Domain Services(R) for Windows user <NT-AUTORITÄT\SYSTEM> Without the corresponding UNIX identity of the Windows user the user cannot access Network File System (NFS) shared resources. Verify that the Windows user is in Active Directory Domain Services and has access permissions. ... but I can't find a solution. Any hints for me ?

Do you know which application, process or service is trying to access a Linux/Unix NFS-share authenticating as SYSTEM? If yes, try to change that's process authentication to use a valid username for accessing the NFS-share. Wolfgang

I don't know how - but after some reboots, connected to the Domain the problem isn't available anymore. Whatever - thank you very much._________________________________________________ assist others - and you can hope of help at self
