When I print to file or create a PDF the new windows that open are going straight to the task bar as a blinking icon. This creates an extra step of going to the taskbar to open the window, I need to have the window open directly on the desk top. Thanks.

I'm afraid that's by desgin behavior on Win 7, and hard to change it. Seven

It is not the problem of Windows 7 actually, but the software you are using. I have tested some some softwares but this doesn't happened in my case. You can try changing the settings of your software, or you right click and open properties of the main icon of the application you are using, in the run drop-down menu try selecting maximize or normal, instead of Minimized. I tried changing the properties to Maximze of the programs, no luck. Mostly an issue when I print to PDF from Excel, extra clicks add up when I do this 100 times a day. Thanks for trying though.
