Hello,

I had to rebuild the server (one server topology) for the forefront environment. How could I restore partially the old database(s)?

- Only few servers remain in FCS so I need to restore only 2 or 3 policies from the 20 I had before.

- what else should be restored?

- How do I make sure the servers are reporting to the new server (same name and IP)

Hi,

I don't know how to restore partially the database. But you could check the article Recovering your deployment to find more information.

If you use the same name and IP and configuration with old server, the clients will just start reporting to that one as soon as it's up and running.
