Networking issue with Vista
I've been on this for 4 days. The only way I can access the Internet is to turn off my firewall. I only have one firewall turned on, Norton. Router is Linksys Valet Plus. I have static IP addresses entered (as per TS from Linksys).
I've spent hours on the phone with them. Also, everything have been updated including drivers. HELP?

Hi,
When did this issue begin to occur? Can you associate with any newly installed software or update?
As it is specific Norton firewall involved, we may need to contact
Norton support for more accurate information on configurations. After a research, the following steps worth a try:
1. Open Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall.
2. Click "Personal Firewall" (if you are using Norton Firewall, skip this step.)
3. Configure it by clicking "Configure".
4. Then it opens the configuration window, click the "Programs" tab.
5. Then in Manual Program Control.
6. Find Microsoft Internet Explorer in the list.
7. Click "Modify".
8. Select "Automatically Configure Internet Access" or "Permit Always"
9. Click "Ok".
