Networking Windows XP with Vista Problem.
I have a home network with 3 computers, and I am having problems connecting my windows xp laptop to my Vista Desktop. All are connected to the internet via wireless card. Vista laptop and XP laptop can see each other but Vista desktop can not be seen by either laptop. Vista desktop can see shared files on XP laptop but can not access Vista laptop. All workgroups are the same and network setup wizard has been run on XP laptop. The file sharing permissions in Vista laptop and desktop are set to private network, with network discovery on, file sharing, and public file sharing are on, printer and password protected sharing are off, and media sharing is on. I am not sure what is going on with the network and I have searched for answers to my problem with no success. Please help if you can.1 person needs an answerI do too
