Networking Issue
Hi, I set my remote desktop to communicate with my computer at home using my router IP address, I decided to defragment the disk, also clean the memory. After that my remote desktop just work at home if I type the internal IP address, but it doesn't do it if I go to my office or any other place if I type the router IP address. Also my web page is down, I had tested port communication and it says is fine. 1 person needs an answerI do too

HiPort is always open toward a specific IP.If the IP of the computer changes the Port might be open but going nowhere. Many Routers do not keep the same IP to same computer when booting. If your Router does IP reservation (gives always the same IP to same computer) use it for the computer in question, or use Static IP, and re-do the Port opening toward the correct IP.Jack MVP-Networking.
