If a win7 LAN driver is avialble it would be supplied by HP, so visit their site, specific to the model. If no win7 driver is avilable, you would need to purchase an ethernet card that supports win7. I assume the other motherboard devices function without problems?

Hi, Please download the network adapter driver for Windows XP on the machine and then install it in Compatibility Mode for a test. If the driver still cannot be installed, you should wait for another period of time till the device manufacturer to upgrade the driver or purchase another NIC card which is compatible with Windows 7. Thanks for your time and understanding! Regards, Novak

If your driver is showing up but you're showing no internet activity (lights) try going into your network adapter settings, click configure, go to advanced tab, go to duplex/speed, set to 10Mb half duplex. if that works kick it up from there. Hope that helps.
