Networking:
I am connecting a home network of three disktop computers using Network Setup Wizard. I am able to see all three of the computers on one computer but on the other two I only see each other. To clearly state this, computer 1 sees computer 1, 2, and 3 but computer 2 only sees (2 & 3) and computer 3 only sees (2 & 3). I am connecting them through a hub via ethernet. All three are able to use the internet simultaneously. Why are computers 2 and 3 not able to see or list computer 1 on their My Network Places?1 person needs an answerI do too

HiGiven the use of the Internet and the fact that IPX is old and it Not supported by newer OS' it is not a good idea to solve the problem by installing it.I do not know if you only use Win XP, or it just the OS running on the troubled computer.Maybe this can Help.Make sure that the Software Firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall On, Vista/XP Native Firewall should be Off, and the active Firewall has to adjusted to your Network IP numbers on what is some time called the Trusted Zone (consult your 3rd Party Firewall instructions.General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trustedPlease Note that some 3rd party Software Firewall keep blocking aspects of Local Traffic even if they are disabled. There is a need to totally uninstall them in order to allow clean flow of local network trafficVista File and Printer Sharing- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb727037.aspxWindows XP File Sharing - http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;304040Printer Sharing XP -http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/honeycutt_july2.mspxWindows Native Firewall setting for Sharing XP -http://support.microsoft.com/kb/875357Windows XP patch for Sharing with Vista (Not need for XP-SP3) - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922120 Sharing between Windows XP and Mac - http://www.realifewebdesigns.com/web-resources/mac-pc-file-share.aspWhen done hard reboot all network computers and the Router.
