Network shortcut menu red lines (NOT an X)
When I open my Network & Sharing center, the shortcut lines between my network and internet are RED, not green. This is different from when my internet actually cuts out, when it becomes grey with a red X through it. My network has been very unstable for the past week and the lines never turn green. What do these red lines mean? Here is a screenshot

Hi, did you do something(configuration, installed some software, changed hardware etc.) on your pc before this issue occurs? Form your screenshot, I find you use wireless to access internet. Please try plugging a cable to access internet to see if the same issue appears. It is a possible that your router with wireless is unstable. You can also try to restart your router or you can go to another place where have wireless for test. Hope it helps. I actually had this problem, this is going to sound really funny. do you have a red window background? (the primary color of the active window is personallized red?) I had a red white and blue setup (you do red fading to pale blue) up and got the same screenshot. I spent all day scrambling over the net to find the answer to why both my pcs had this error.... then I noticed the color difference. If you go to windows basic default it will turn light blue. It turns the same color as the primary window color you have. I went everywhere, called everywhere, got some network issues resolved I didn't even know I had, and found out that when I change the color of the top of the window... anyway, your question helped me find the solution, so I figured I would post my answer...
