I have Windows 7 Ultimate installed on my computer. After installing SP1 I can't enter the www in explorer (IE8), though pinging works. After removing the SP1, all is well. I need to point out that this problem has occured with other updates in the past (SP1 probably includes them), but I don't remeber their numbers. Anyone can help please?

Hi, I have installed the SP1 on my personal computer and never encountered the same situation. Based on my experience, I do not think this is caused by one update package. You may try to launch the IE in no add-ons mode for a test. Also, you may reset the IE. In addition, because the latest version IE 9 already released to public. Hi, The problem appears each time I install the SP and disappears whenever I uninstall it. I tried to reset IE but it didn't solve the problem. The whole problem bothered me more when I wanted to install IE9 for performence improvements but when I started the install process I was informed that I am missing Windows updates inorder for me to be able to install IE9, hence this thread...
