Network printing from Windows 7 to a Mac
I am trying to add a network printer to my new Windows 7, home edition, 64 bit laptop. - Printer: Epson Stylus CX4200, connected to the mac via USB (local printer on that host) - Mac: Tiger OS, printer sharing, file sharing, and web sharing have been enabled there. - Have downloaded and tried both 64 bit and 32-bit drivers from Epson Suppport When adding a new printer from the W7 system, the Mac printer is recognized. Further configuration on the 64-bit driver provides a nearly instant error message, 0x000006f7. When using the 32-bit driver, I get error 0x00000214 at the same juncture (incompatible driver). I've attempted the solution that Arthur Xie provided with no luck yet. That solution is to basically place the printer on a Local Port, but provide a network address and destination printer name. This still fails. So, back to the original question, How can I configure the W7, 64-bit system to print to the Mac print queue? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the pointers. I've downloaded Bonjour and ran the wizard on my W7 Laptop. No go. The wizard sees the remote printer and tries to configure it. Ultimately I get an error message "You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer". I am able to seemlessly connect to the Mac's file share, and the print sharing service has been activated on the mac. Still no go. Do you have a plan "B" in mind? Any help is greatly appreciated! - Brad
