Network map in Networking and Sharing Center has wrong name/label for router/device
Hi, Somehow, the name of another device on my home network has gotten placed as the name of my primary router. The name "WDTVLIVEPLUS" is a Western Digital media sharing device on the network. The physical device is actually my FIOS router, an Actiontec device. In Properties under the device, the IP and MAC addresses are correct. I normally would not bother if things were working correctly, but they are not. Other wireless devices can not see the WD device. Incidentaly, the "F9K..." is a Belkin router configured as a secondary router, basically as a switch. Anyone experienced anything like this? TIA, Randy
