Ihave a computer running Windows 7, another running Windows Web Server 2008 and a Netgear NAS Device. All these show up in Windows Explorer under the Network Tab but when I try to connect to one of them from the Windows 7 computer I get the eroor message 'Windows cannot access \\NAS-??-??-?? (? represents NAS hostname) or the same with the computer running Web Server on the network. How do I enable sharing and connection between these computers on the network? I can access the shares on the NAS device if I go through the front end of this device via the allocated IP address and I can transfer files between the Windows 7 computer and the NAS device when I do this but is there a way to access the shares directly from the Windows 7 and/or Web Server 2008 computer?
