Network drives map incorrectly on login
Hi, We have started deploying Windows 7 at my place of work. Going great so far except for one persistent problem that is driving me mad. We assign NETLOGON scripts to users via Active Directory. When the user logs onto a machine, it seems that the networking hasnt fully come up and as such the NETLOGON script isnt run. This means no mapped drives for the user. I have to add them manually every day... I have changed the following Local Group Policy: Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Logon -> Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon to endabled however, when the user logs on now, it seems that it might be remembering the drives used previously. I can see them in explorer but when we try to open them, we get access denied. I can confirm the user does indeed have access to the network shares. Strangely, if i delete the network share and re-add it again using its FQDN, it works fine. At first i thought it was related to KB958830 but that patch doesnt resolve the issue. Anyone have any ideas?
