Network drives invisible in explorer Windows 7
We're having a few network drives that connects with a kix-script at login. Our problem is that they doesn't exist i Windows 7 Explorer. If we use net use to see connected network drives they are there and if we choose to use the explorer to map them they are also there, on the right drive letter. But they are still not visible in the explorer. When we use net use we get a result where the network drives that do show have an OK as status and the ones that doesn't show haven't got anything under status. What we need help with is to know which GPO that sets this, if there is one. Or any other help/hint would also be helpfull.

1. For Kix scripting try to ask in Kix forum http://kixtart.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?Cat=0 2. For mapping use parameter permanent 3. Formally there are two aspects, namely visibility and accessibility. Open port 445 is needed for accessibility and "legacy" ports 137-139 allow for visibility. To avoid problems of mapping I use simple script containing explorer \\server\shared_folder and pause. Regards Milos
