Network discovery on, no servers or pc's found
Hi,Last week I installed Win7 on a PC to test it. I did add it to the domain and everything works fine, except network discovery. First I couldn't see any of the pc's and servers available, only a Sitecom wireless router that is installed. I checked everything and did a extensive search on the internet but nothing helped. The last thing I did was a restart of the computer browser service. And to my suprise (as I allready restarted this pc several times) some pc's and servers popped up. But only the ones that are connected through a VPN tunnel between 2 routers (2 VPN tunnels to 2 different locations, different domains, not connected to each other).Network discovery is on, sharing is on, firewall is off for all profiles because we have a own hardware firewall. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

First, I would like to confirm the following questions: 1. Are there any other domain clients that have the same problem? If so, what are the system of the problematic clients? 2. How do the computers connected, via router or switch? You can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue. 1. Temporarily turn off firewall or antivirus program on each machine and server. 2. Enable Firewall and Sharing via the following command: netsh firewall set service fileandprint enable 3. Restart the Windows 7 machine in Safe Mode with Networking for a test. Please also turn on another machine to check whether it can view the problematic machine. 4. Ping the target machine directly for a test. What's the result? Thanks, Novak
