Hi all, I have had the same problem with RC1 (both builds) and now rc2, When i try to connect to my vista machine from another machine on the network it can see the files, But soon as i start to copy the vista machine drops all network activity, I can not get the nic working again. the only thing I can do is reboot the machine and then it comes back. My nic is on board using Nforce4 chipset

It's a famous bug Windows Vista has it, Windows Vista RC2 links were removed as they're currently fixing some common bugs like that you have, please be patient few days until new fixed build got released. Good luck

I am having that same issue. Cannot do anything over the network after I try to upload something to our home file server, it freezes and I have to do a hard reboot (it won't shut down properly). using vista rc2 (did it with rc1) along with the nforce 4 chipset.
