Network detection post hibernation
I am facing issues with my Win 7 based laptop. post hibernation it sometimes doesn't detect the network correctly. This is specifically observed if I was say on Lan before hibernation and post resume I try to connect to a wireless network and vice versa. Rebooting is the only option. I have tried by disabling the option of "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" for both Lan and Wireless.DetailsWin 7 Enterprise RTM Version 6.1, build 7600Laptop Dell XPS M1330LAN adapter -Broadcom NetLink fast ethernetWireless adapter - Interl PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network ConnectionI have seen similar issues logged by people for Win 7 RC and was thinking that this is resolved in RTMMVP Solution Architect

Hi, May I know which connection you are using when the issue occurs? For the wireless adapter, I have also searched on Intel site, and could not find the Windows 7 driver for this device: Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection - Download Please Note: Since the website is not hosted by Microsoft, the link may change without notice. Microsoft does not guarantee the accuracy of this information. Please remove the driver you are using, reboot the computer and try the latest version for Windows Vista with Compatibility Mode. Meanwhile, if you have installed some other wireless network management utility, please remove it and just use the Windowsbuilt-in feature. Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT

The site shows 12.4.3 as latest driver. However on my machine when I do an "update driver" it says the latest is already installed.and btw, the issue typically occurs when i go on hibernation while being on Lan and post hibernation resume try to get onto wireless network MVP Solution Architect
