Network admin needs to hide wireless network security key (wep) form users of laptops. is it possible?

If you check the properties of a wireless connection you will see a hidden security key and under it a check box to show it. I'm not on Windows 7 because it failed the dhcp client... I'll check if I find something later. sorry antonio

That's very interesting. Perhaps it's because we're using the RC version and it will be removed in the RTM?I've checked the 'Show characters' box in Vistaand it cannot be ticked.

My query is that. once the admin entered the security key in to the system and working properly. there after admin will hide the char by changing the tick on hide character.. close the config window ok.. After that users cannot see/unhide the hidden security key. This is working in Xp and Vista but not in Windows7. Is there any option in windows7?
