Network Security Key Mismatch !
I am trying to connect my laptop to my wireless internet and every time I try to connected it , it tells me to type in the Network Security Key and after I do that it will than pop up saying "Network Security Key Mismatch" but I am 100% positive I have entered the right Key ? Any answers to might my problem might be or suggestions ?

Hello 1/ Check your type of WIFI encryption ? Perhaps your laptop doesn't support WPA, WPA-SK, WPA2 ? 2/ Try to connect on access point with WEP (modify the type of Encryption on your Access point) 3/ If WEP is running, try on WPA with a simple Key. You can generate a key on this site http://www.yellowpipe.com/yis/tools/WPA_key/generator.php 4/ Continue to increase the encryption step by step. RegardsEric Malartre

Hi, Also, please make sure the connection SSID and the password are correct. You may type the password in Notepad and paste it in Network Security Key dialog for a test. Juke Chou TechNet Community Support
