Network Problems (Disconnecting between servers)
Now, i am no pc genius, so forgive me if the title is off... Anyways, you see it started yesterday. I'm not completely sure if it was the update but my connection keeps disconnecting. Now i know there have been many topics over "my pc keeps disconnecting" but i couldn't find any related with mine. You see being a PC gamer and having MMOs , i play a lot of games over the network. During the times i connect it is fine, but when i go to different servers on the game or host. It will drop me from my connection for a about 15 minutes unless i disconnect and reconnect. To let you understand my problem better here's some examples. So lets start with a game known as Champions online. I logged in and it was fine. Connection stable, no lag and everything running as it should. When i decided to move to another server of the game, to join a friend it dropped me. This has happened multiple times before. So anyways i had to tab out and disconnect/reconnect and once again everything is going great until i have to zone out again. You see when you jump to another server or area the game sets you on a different server each time and every time i go somewhere else, that problem happens. Second example. It didn't show before but it may be because i rarely get on long. so on Wc3 (Warcraft 3) i tried to connect to a game. This problem never occurred for me. After trying to connect to it, it didn't let me in. This was a bot ran game, it had let others in as well. So i realized that the problem happened again i had to disconnect and reconnect then join Battle.net again. This time it let me in. Once again to join games means your connecting to another network or host. Every time this happened the icon to my connection ids full and it says "Internet access" meaning its allowing me to connect. Obviously thats bs. I have tried using internet access during this and it couldn't connect me. For this i have tried unplugging the modem/router, restarting my pc, and as you see, restarting the connection.

Hi, Thanks for the post! How about enter into Safe Mode with networking? I recommend you do a Clean Boot to find if there's any conflicts. If the issue persists, I suggest you use the Network Moitor to capture the network trace and analyze the issue. Fistly, please delete the DisableLoopbackCheck key from registry. Then, follow these steps: 1. Download the Network Monitor 3.4:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=983b941d-06cb-4658-b7f6-3088333d062f&displaylang=en 2. Log onto the machine, right-click the Netmon icon and select Run as Administrator to launch the NetMon. 3. In the Microsoft Network Monitor 3.4 window, click Create a new capture tab... 4. In the new tab, select all the Network Adapters in the Select Networks window. 5. After that, press F10 to start NetMon. 6. Try to re-produce the issue on the computer. 7. Go back to the NetMon window and press F11 to stop the NetMon. 8. Press Ctrl+S to save the Netmon file and upload them to the SkyDrive in a public folder. In addition, please understand that analyze/troubleshoot this kind of issue may be time-consuming. If it's urgent, I'd like to recommend you contact Microsoft Customer Support Service for instant assistance. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request, please take a look at the website listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;PHONENUMBERS Thanks for your cooperation!
