1. You have not mentioned the printer vendor. 2. Are there any traces in event logs in workstations? This is primary place for troubleshooting . 3. Are there any traces in event logs in print server? 4. You are expected to "deliver" latest drivers to your system. 5. If the problem is not local to workstation(s), the you can catch the comminucation between workstataion and server. 6. If it is local problem to workstation, the process monitor would help Regards Milos

1. All of the network printers are HP's and different models. Nothing older then 2 years old. 2. No traces in the system or application event log. 3. The printer server event logs are ok. 4. All of the printers use HP Universal Post Script Drivers. 5. The problem is with local workstations. I redid the windows profile and the customer was able to print for a day and then the next unable to print. If I added the customer to the admins group they can print. When unable to print, no error messages and nothing in the print queue. All I have to do is give full control to users HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print and the customer can print immeditaly. If I do not give full control they cannot print from any applicatoin. This is happening on about 20 customers.

A. What is the difference between "good" and "bad" computers (except for the first group can print and the second cannot)? B. Have no response to the "6"... C. Contact HP support and/or support forum and give them more information to troubleshoot your problem. Regards Milos
