Network PCs to Standalone PCs
We have several PCs (Windows XP, SP3) that we used in a prior business networked on a server. Now, we want to use them individually, but of course, we're being asked to log in to the network. How can we reconfigure PCs to operate as standalone PCs. We have the XP software, and I've read a little about restoring, but there are other programs on the PCs that we don't want to lose. The easiest thing to do is to reinstall XP on those PC's, but you will lose any programs. If you have the installation discs for these programs, you can reinstall them afterward. I don't know of any way to fix this problem. Also, consider moving this question to the Network, E-Mail and Internet Access forum.

Make sure you have a local administrator account that you can login to, then unjoin it from the domain.
