Network HELP!!
Is it possible to connect to more that one network at a time. I have a wireless connection at the school I go to and I just bought a wireless printer. I love the printer and not having to plug it in to the computer, but my computer won't let me stay connected to the internet and to the printer at the same time. I was just wondering if there were a way to fix this or at least get around it. My printer is set up through an ad hoc network I had to set up because my internet connection would no allow the printer to work through it. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Rachel

Hi Rachel, Do you mean that you would like to connect both the Internet port and the printer to your computer? If my understanding is correct, we need another wireless network adapter to realize it. One is used to connect to Internet, and the other is used to connect to the printer. However, in this case we also need to confirm if your motherboard support multiple wireless network adapters. If you already have two adapters installed, they may work in the same channel. This would cause conflictions. Please change the WiFi Channel Number to avoid interference. I suggest that you also contact the network administrator of your school network and confirm if we need to do some tasks on the Internet connection if we will create two wireless connections on the computer. The most solid way to resolve this issue is that you purchase a wireless router, connect the WAN port to the Internet connection, and connect the printer and your computer with LAN ports. Hope the information helps.
