Log Name: System Source: k57nd60a Date: 23/04/2012 19:12:41 Event ID: 4 Task Category: None Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: Gerry-PC Description: Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet: The network link is down. Check to make sure the network cable is properly connected. I looked for solutions for this. Nowhere did I find an obvious solution suggested, namely disable the device. I had the error on my laptop. I always use wireless to connect. Am I missing something? TIA, Gerry

Hi, You may try to disable this device to clear this warning due to you always use wireless connection. Or, I suggest you change the priority of network adapter to see if it can eliminate this warning. Change the order of network protocol bindingsAlex Zhao TechNet Community Support
