Network Drive Won't Reconnect
I'm havingsome network drive connectionerror codes and my network drive (NAS) won't reconnect after I log off and back on or reboot the machine. Everything used to work fine for a couple months until about 2 weeks ago when this issue started. I have scoured over the internet for a solution but have been unable to find one. I have a D-Link DNS-321 NAS system with (2) 1TB Seagate drives in it in a RAID 0. Running Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 x64. I can connect to the NAS by mapping the drive out over my network but when I either log off the computer or restart the computer it disconnects itself from the drive and will not allow me access back into it without remapping it. If I just double click on the drive without remapping after a reboot I get this error:An error occurred while reconnecting X: to\\dlink-076522\Volume_1Microsoft Windows Network: The account is not authorized to log in from this station. The connection has not been restored. Here's the kicker, I have another computer on my network running the SAME EXACT version of Windows 7 RC1 Build 7100 x64 from the same disk no less and it reconnects with no issues. I also have another computer on the network running XP Pro x32 and it reconnects with no issues as well. I'm not sure what setting has gotten messed up where but I would appreciate any help you could provide. I'm no computer expert but I know my way around and can follow directions. If you need anymore info from me on my issue or hardware or anything else please ask here. Below I have posted the Troubleshooting report from this issue. You're never going to believe it but I finally found a fix. Windows Live Essentials caused the problem. Uninstalling the "Windows Live ID Login Assistant" fixed the issue. You can find it in your programs list in the control panel.
