Network Connection Error.
I am trying to set-up My wireless Network using a TP-Link WR841ND Wireless Router, after having done a hard reset on the router itself. The computers are on seperate levels in the house, one of them directly next to the Router. When i set up the router settings with the SSID, under various settings, i have problems connecting one or both computers to the network. Should i assign specific IPs to the computer TCP/IP Settings? or let it automatically Assign? When i have Connected the computers to the Networks previously, there has been no internet connection through the one Further away from the Router. I Spoke with TP-Link already, and was talked through a variety of options, which didn't seem to help, and am now thinking that Windows 7 is hard to use for somebody like me, who does not understand all the technical aspects of computers, and networks, and probably has some easy setting that would make networking easier? simply Restarting the router/modem/computer does not help, i have not had wireless networking available in the house for a week now. Please assist me.

1. If you let router to assing TCP/IP setting, you do not need to take care about proper settings. 2. Show here output from ipconfig /all 3. Make sure that you do not use some ports on router for different services (TV). 4. You can log network traffic and analyze its content to pinpoint the problem. Regards Milos
