Network Connection Down
I've ran all the notable spyware/malware programs or built in utilities out there: HiJack This, Adaware, Advanced Sys Care, Comodo, CCleaner, etc.repaired the TCP/IP stack. tried multiple browsers. even rolled back my system way before the problem began. Does that mean it's a hardware failure?hardwire and wireless are down on this computer only. Same cat5 works to other computers from same router in same port.Still can't get a connection to the internet. Cannot even hit Google.com on port 80 via a CLI telnet.Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm friggn stumped and to be honest, I'm more stump'd than I've been in a long time with computers.... am I overlooking something? 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi Leapa,Are you geting IP Address? Are you able to ping to your router / gateway? Check your firewall if its blocking the traffic.
